In honor, and in observation of President’s Day we have brought you the rarely listened to short clip of President Franklin D. Roosevelt speaking at Harvard University.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt was a true American Patriot who saw us through our victory in WWII, was the forefather of the New Deal which helped pull us out of the Great Depression. His public policies are still helping Americans throughout this nation today, and could be considered the greatest President in American history.
President Roosevelt says “Pledged to the word of no particular master. That they should above all find a friend in truth. And that became the creed of Harvard.” In this he sets the foundation for what all great learning should be about: self discovery and challenging the boundaries of what we hold true.
